A focuser drive dedicated for WO RedCat 51 II. With elegant structure, high resolution, and perfect integration, your RedCat 51 II is upgraded to a powerful weapon for automatic astronomy observation.

Outstanding Design

AiryFD R51 is made of robust aluminum alloy and CNC machining. It upgrades your RedCat 51 II to a whole new observation level with a continuous variable speed control. Even so, we still keep some of the convenient functions of RedCat 51 II! Cat saddle bar installation and maintaining the mechanism height are some examples. A Picatinny Rail is also included to make more possibilities happen!

The integration between motor and dovetail maintains the original height of the structure.

Picatinny Rail design provides more extension possibilities.

High Resolution

The focusing resolution is as high as 3300 steps/mm, and the total steps are 115000. Each focus adjustment can achieve unparalleled precision.

Automatic Observation

AiryFD R51 is fully compatible with ASCOM platform. The driver can be downloaded at the official site of ASCOM (www.ascom-standards.org). Therefore, R51 can be used in most mainstream astronomy observation software such as N.I.N.A., MaxIm DL, SharpCap, FireCapture, and much more, to approach automatic observations.
